Gabreyl Foxx, LCMHCA Therapist
Gabby is an LCMHCA who earned her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Texas Tech University. She primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, while also integrating a person-centered approach so clients feel heard, valued, and respected throughout the counseling process.
Building trust and rapport is central to her work, as meaningful growth often begins when clients feel seen, safe, and comfortable being their authentic selves. She believes counseling is an individualized process where each client’s unique story, strengths, and goals help guide the work they do together.
Her approach to therapy focuses on creating a supportive space where clients can better understand themselves, develop practical skills, and make meaningful progress at their own pace. A guiding belief in her work is that thoughts are powerful but they are not always accurate. Learning to question those thoughts can open the door to growth, healing, and a stronger sense of self.
