NLBH Receives Triangle Community Foundation Grant

February 10, 2015

New Leaf Behavioral Health is excited to announce that it was the recipient of the Smith Anderson Blount Dorsett Mitchell & Jernigan LLP Community Fund of Triangle Community Foundation grant.  This grant will be used to further our work in providing services to the uninsured and under-insured in the Triangle community.  New Leaf was nominated for the grant by Mary Pat Sullivan, a current board member and attorney at Smith Anderson. We’re grateful for the support from the Smith Anderson Blount Dorsett Mitchell & Jernigan, LLP Community Fund and the work they do in supporting community initiatives that take care of the people in need in our communities.

New Leaf Behavioral Health is a nonprofit organization that provides mental health services, with an inclusive model that provides affordable options for the uninsured and under-insured.  NLBH’s Reduced Fee Program has been a consistent support for the uninsured and under-insured in our community since 2007, providing low-fee services for residents of Wake, Durham, Johnston and Franklin county.  New Leaf is one of only a handful of local treatment providers that offers a sliding scale to ensure our service rates are affordable – with counseling sessions as low as $5 – and some qualifying for free services.
