Chanel is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.  Chanel approaches counseling in an honest and authentic way that allows the client to feel comfortable with hopes of growing emotionally.  She empowers clients self-awareness to identify specific needs and wants, and she uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to teach awareness around thoughts and skills that help clients cope with challenging emotions.  Chanel is a Veteran of the US Coast Guard and continues to work with veterans in the area clinically and as a volunteer.
