Chanel Marshall, LCMHCA Therapist

Chanel is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate with a Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Capella University.  She completed her clinical internship with New Leaf Behavioral Health in 2017 and has rejoined our practice after graduation.  Chanel approaches counseling in an honest and authentic way that allows the client to feel comfortable with hopes of growing emotionally.  She empowers clients self-awareness to identify specific needs and wants, and she uses Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to teach awareness around thoughts and skills that help clients cope with challenging emotions.  Chanel is a Veteran of the US Coast Guard and continues to work with veterans in the area clinically and as a volunteer.
